GDFG Level Edit-arrr Compeition

This is a Game intended to be used to challenge the GDFG community to a Level Design competition in November/December 2022.

Competition Notes

• Levels must be submitted to the website (this is done using the upload button ⬆️ in-game).
• Once a level is submitted, it cannot be edited further.
  • If you wish to do play testing, you can hand out your level code for others to download before you submit the level. 
    
• Your level must be completable! This means no impossibly difficult submissions please (unless you can make something so fun that it doesn't need to end 😅️)
  • If you want to you can submit a completion time for your own level to prove its doable, but that is not a requirement.
• You can submit multiple levels. But please try not to spam the competition.

Rating

• Please play and rate each others levels. In order to rate a level you will need to login to the website using your Discord account. 
  • We do not track any of your data, we just want to make sure that only people who are part of our community are rating to prevent bots/spam content.

How to play

• There is a tutorial video to show how the level editor works.
• Player controls are:
  • WASD/Arrow keys to move and space to jump.
  • Controller support is included but not tested...
• Submit your times at the end of a run, only the best times make the leaderboard.

Emergency Support

• I have accidentally deleted my level.
• I want to unsubmit my level.
• Something went wrong please help.
• I found a bug.
